About Us

Mr. Olive was founded in Japan in 2003 by Wataru Nagao, a fashion designer with more than 20 years experience creating clothing and leather goods with a focus on a high level of attention to detail and craftsmanship that is unique to Japan.

With its roots in "American casual wear from the 1960s to 1980s, and also influenced heavily by European trends", Mr Olive produces original, quality clothing and accessories based on themes inspired by music, movies, culture, etc. that changes and evolves for each new season.

Mr. Olive focuses on using high quality materials combined with functionality that can be used across a wide range of environments. All items are hand made by skilled craftsman and undergo thorough screening before being presented to customers. 

At Mr. Olive we are proud and believe in the high quality of our garments and accessories and strongly advocate in the old ways of making clothing, one at a time and only producing items that can be used and loved for a long time.
